1. How do I download barablu for
my mobile?
Simply go to www.barablu.com,
register with barablu to get a username and password, select the
handset and enter your mobile number. We will send you a SMS with a
link, which you can open to download the software.
2. What should I do if I don’t
receive the SMS link?
If you don’t receive the SMS, you can
try once more to download and if you still haven’t received the
SMS, contact our support team on: support@barablu.com
3. How do I get online from my
phone?
Simply select Go online.
4. Can I make calls to my barablu
contacts?
No. The barablu Java version don’t
support voice calls at the moment.
5. How do I use the chat
feature?
Click on the highlighted contact, go
to Options and select chat. A window will open where you can type a
message and send to the other contact. You can also chat to your
buddies on Skype®, MSN® Messenger, Google Talk™, Yahoo!™,
AIM® and ICQ® accounts by importing their contacts into
your barablu account.
6. Can I add another user to a
normal chat?
No. If you want to chat to more than
1 person you need to use the Group chat feature.
7. How do I send a SMS?
To send SMS, you first need to verify
your mobile number. When you select the SMS icon, a box will pop up
asking you to verify a number. Select the ‘verify mobile number’
link and follow the instructions. Alternatively you can access you
SMS settings from Tools / Options / SMS. After verifying your
number, select SMS, create new, enter the destination number and
message and send.
8. How do I use Group Chat?
You need to invite your contacts to
start a group chat. Go to Options / Features / Group chat. Select
the contacts you want to invite for the group chat.
9. Can I add more users, during
the group chat?
Yes, you just need to go the Options
and select Add new user.
10. Can I share photos/files with
my barablu contacts?
Yes, you can send files by going to
Options / Send file and choose the file which you want to send.
11. How do I export photos?
You can export all your photos that
are on your mobile phone, by selecting Export Photo and mark the
photos which you want to export.
12. How do I add credit to my
barablu account from my mobile?
To add credit to your account from
your mobile you need to have a voucher number, which at the moment
is only available in the Scandinavia countries. Go to Account
Settings and choose Top up.
13. How do I top up my
account?
To top up your account, go to the
barablu website and login into your account. And choose the Add
Credit option.
14. How do I check my balance?
You can view your balance at anytime
by selecting the My Account option from the dialer. You can also
log in to the website to view your balance.
15. How do I import my
contacts?
To import your contacts from Skype®,
MSN® Messenger, Google Talk™, Yahoo!™, AIM® and ICQ®, go to
Options / Import contacts. Select the account you wish to import
and enter the username and password of that account. Your contacts
will be displayed on the contact list.
16. Can I have Skype®, MSN®
Messenger, Google Talk™, Yahoo!™, AIM® and ICQ® contacts imported
at the same time?
Yes. You can have all your accounts
imported.
17. Can I make video calls from
the mobile?
No. At the moment there is no video
call feature.
18. Can I export my phonebook
contacts to barablu?
Yes. go to Options / Export phonebook
contacts. Your contacts will be exported to your contact list on
barablu and you can also access them, by using barablu on your
PC.
19. Can I add contacts?
Yes. Go to Contact Settings / Search
contact, and add your friend’s username. Click on Options and then
Search. A list of usernames will appear, from which you can select
your contact.
