1. How do I download barablu for
my mobile?
You just need to go to the website,
register yourself with a username and password, select the handset
and enter your mobile number. You will receive a SMS with a link,
which you can open and download the software
2. What should I do if I don’t
receive the SMS link?
If you don’t receive the SMS, you can
try to download it again or contact our support team on:

3. Which mobile phones are
compatible with barablu?
To use barablu from a mobile, you
will need a mobile using one of the following operating systems:
Symbian 8, 9.1 or 9.2, Windows Mobile 5.0 or 6.0. To see the
complete list of compatible mobile phones, go to the download page and select the model drop down
menu.
4. There are warning messages
during the installation process. What should I do?
You do not have to worry about the
warning messages. These are there due to the fact that this is
still only a beta version. We can ensure you that the application
will in no way harm your handset, just click continue.
5. How do I make a barablu
call?
To make a Barablu call, you need to
have online contacts on your list. You can just select the contact
and press call.
6. What is a barablu out
call?
Barablu out call is when you call to
non Barablu users, on their landline/mobile numbers, anywhere in
the world, at a very low cost.

regular call?

8. Can I call to my Skype,
Google, MSN or Yahoo contacts?
You can call to Skype and Google talk
contacts for free and IM your MSN or Yahoo contacts.
9. How do I use chat
feature?
You just need to click on the
highlighted contact, go to Options and select chat. A window will
be opened and you can type and send to the other contact.
You can also chat free with the
contacts you import from your Skype, Google Talk, Yahoo!, and
Windows Live Messenger friends.
10. Can I add another user?
Yes, you can add other when you are
on the chat window, by going to Options and selecting Add new
user.
11. How do I set a topic?
On the chat window you have an option
to Set a topic.
12. How do I send a SMS?
To send SMS, you first need to verify
a mobile number. After that you can just select SMS and create
message. You can type the destination number (including the country
code) and message and press send.
13. How do I verify my
number?
To be able to send SMS messages you
first need to verify a mobile phone number, using Barablu PC
dialer. Please install Barablu PC and click on the SMS icon in a
random user's contact card. Barablu will ask you to verify a
number. Click "yes", enter your mobile phone number and click on
"send". Shortly you will receive a confirmation code on you mobile
phone - Enter the code you received and click on "submit" button.
You are now ready to send your first SMS message.
14. How do I use Group Chat?
You need to invite your contacts to
start a group chat. Go to Options / Features / Group chat.
Select the contacts which you want to invite for the group
chat.
Note that you can only use group chat with barablu contacts and
not with your other IM contacts.
15. Can I add more users, during
the group chat?
Yes, you just need to go the Options
and select Add new user.
16. Can I share photos/files with
my barablu contacts?
Yes, you send files by going to
Options à Send file and choose the file which you want to send.
17. How do I export photos?
You can export all your photos that
are on your mobile phone, by going to Features à Export Photos.
18. How do I put credit on my
account using my mobile?
To top up your account, using your
mobile, you need to buy have a voucher number, which at the moment
is only available on the Scandinavia countries.
19. How do I top up my
account?
To top up your account, go Barablu
website and login into your account. You have to select the method
payment (credit card, voucher number or ukash).
For credit card, please make sure you
enter all the mandatory fields correctly.
20. How do I check my
balance?
You can view your balance at anytime
by selecting the My Account Information option from the dialler.
You can also log in to the website to view your balance.
21. What is my number?
With my number your non-barablu
contacts can get in touch with you too. You'll get an ordinary
local fixed line number which will ring into your barablu account
whenever anyone calls you. That means that you will receive your my
number calls on your mobile or PC.With my number, your friends can
make international calls at local rate. If you choose a my number
in the same area code in which they live, all calls will
automatically be diverted to your barablu account.
22. Do I need to pay to get a my
number?
For UK my number, you do not need to
pay anything. It’s free!
For US My number, you only have to
pay 16pounds for 12 months
23. How do I import my
contacts?
To import your contacts (MSN, Yahoo,
Googletalk and Skype), please go to Options à Features à Import
contacts. Select the account you wish to import and enter the
username and password of that account. Your contacts will be
displayed on the contact list.
24. Can I have Skype and MSN
contacts imported at the same time?
Yes. You can have all your accounts
(MSN, yahoo, googletalk and skype) imported.
25. Can my calls go to
Voicemail?
Yes. If you change your status to
Busy, if you are offline or simply don’t answer, the calls will go
to voicemail. A voicemail alert will appear whenever your contacts
leave a message.
26. Do I need to pay to hear my
voicemail messages?
No, Barablu gives you voicemail for
all your incoming calls, absolutely free!
27. Can I make video calls from
the mobile?
You can receive video calls from
users who are using Barablu PC software. However you are not able
to make video calls.
28. Can I export my phonebook
contacts to Barablu?
Yes. Go to Options à Features à Store
phonebook contacts. Your contacts will be exported to your contact
list on Barablu and you can also access them, by using Barablu
PC.
